Scholarship Summary: 
The University of Suffolk Vice-Chancellor's Global Impact Scholarship is a new and exciting scheme to reward exceptional international applicants who have a strong track record of academic achievement, show commitment to their future studies at the University and illustrate the impact they will have on communities both locally and internationally upon graduation.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for the Vice-Chancellor’s Global Impact Scholarship (2024/25), applicants must:  
i. Have received a conditional or unconditional offer for a 360-credit undergraduate or 180-credit postgraduate-taught programme delivered by the University of Suffolk at the Ipswich campus  
ii. Be studying on a full-time basis  
iii. Have applied to commence studies in the 2024/25 academic year
iv. Be self-funding and classified as overseas for fee purposes
v. Have applied for the Vice-Chancellor’s Global Impact Scholarship (2024/25) prior to the scholarship application deadline.
 
Value of Scholarship: 
Fifty (50) Vice-Chancellor’s Global Impact Scholarships of £4,000 will be awarded in the 2024/25 academic year.

Important information
•  25 scholarships will be awarded to undergraduate applicants and 25 scholarships to postgraduate-taught applicants
•  Undergraduate students will be awarded the Vice-Chancellor's Global Impact Scholarship in each year of study (excluding sandwich/placement/study abroad years)
•  Scholarships are awarded as fee discounts

Scholarship Application Guide: 
In order to be considered for a scholarship, 
i. Candidates must submit a scholarship application, which will be made available to eligible offer holders. 

As part of the scholarship application candidates will be asked to provide details of:  
  • Any exceptional academic achievements from previous study (academic and/or English language)  
  • Any extra-curricular activities illustrating a commitment to personal and professional development  
  • How the knowledge and experience gained from a degree at the University of Suffolk will be used to positively impact global communities upon graduation  
  • An indication of the funding source to cover any remaining tuition fee balance upon enrolment.

All scholarship applications will be assessed equally and fairly by a scholarship panel, comprising University of Suffolk staff, who will score candidates against agreed criteria.
