Scholarship Summary:
The UAL International £10,000 Postgraduate Scholarship provides a tuition fee waiver for a full-time or part-time taught master’s course at one of UAL’s Colleges. Up to 228 UAL International Postgraduate £10,000 Scholarships are available for international students.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible, you need to meet the following criteria;
Criteria 1: You must hold an offer to study a full-time or part-time taught master’s course at one of UAL’s Colleges starting in 2026/27.
- Your course must offer either a Grad Dip, M ARCH, MA, MBA, MFA, MRes or MSc qualification and be offered at one of UAL’s Colleges or Institutes. Courses run by UAL Online are not eligible for this scholarship.
- You are not eligible to apply if you already hold a UK postgraduate taught qualification (or one at an equivalent level) from studies undertaken in the UK
Criteria 2: You need to qualify for the Overseas category of tuition fee status.
Criteria 3: You have achieved, or are predicted to achieve, an upper second-class honours degree or above at undergraduate level. Recognised equivalent qualifications are also accepted.
- You will need to provide your transcripts as proof of your qualification.
- If you have not yet received your results, you will need to provide evidence of your predicted grade as part of your application. When you receive your results, you will need to provide further evidence that you have achieved your predicted grade to be granted the award.
Criteria 4: You must provide a personal statement as part of your scholarship application which responds to the following questions (maximum 350 words per question):
- Please tell us about how your achievements and experience gained both within and outside of school/university demonstrate your suitability for this award.
- Please tell us how you intend to use the qualification you will be studying to support your future plans.
- What contribution do you intend to make to university life whilst studying? How do you feel being part of the UAL community will help you in achieving your career aspirations?

The UAL International Postgraduate Scholarship is valued as a £10,000 tuition fee waiver.
Scholarship Application Guide:
i. Once you have received an offer to study at UAL, the ‘my funding’ page in your applicant pool will be updated from December 2025 onwards to include application forms for scholarships you may be eligible for.
ii. If you submit a scholarship application, you will be emailed after the deadline has passed to be told the outcome of your application.
