Scholarship Summary:
The Royal Agricultural University is offering the RAU Bursary (Stream 1) to eligible UK undergraduates to serve as financial help over the duration of their course of study.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this bursary, you must:
• Be a UK student, resident in England or Wales and entering into your first year of an undergraduate degree course. Please note, this bursary is not available to students entering on a Foundation year leading to a three year degree course
• Be entitled to funding for fees and living costs from Student Finance England and have taken out the full loan for 2025/26
• Have a household income of £25,000 or less, as assessed by Student Finance England.
Value of Scholarship:
The recipients of the RAU Core Bursary will receive £1,000 for each year of undergraduate study up to a maximum of £3,000. All Bursary payments are made in three termly instalments each year in autumn, spring and summer and will be made direct to a nominated bank account.
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no need to complete an application form. Eligibility is assessed by the University using the financial information you have shared with Student Finance England/Wales. As a result, you would need to have your Student Finance loan approved by 15 August 2025.
