Scholarship Deadline:
Applications for this scholarship will end as follows;
i. For Ontario students: 15th of January, 2024
ii. For non-Ontario and International students: 1st of April, 2024
Scholarship Summary:
For incoming undergraduate students (Canadian and International) with an admission average of 95% or higher, you will be awarded the President’s Gold Scholarship for your first year at Laurier.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Have a minimum admission average of 95%
ii. Be registered full-time (2.0 credits minimum per term) to receive the full entrance scholarship amount
iii. Be registered in two terms within your first academic year (an academic year at the university is from September to April)
Value of Scholarship:
The Laurier President’s Gold Scholarship is valued as follows;
i. CAD$4,000 for Canadian students
ii. CAD$6,000 for international students
This scholarship is automatically renewable (for up to 5 years for some programs) if you achieve an annual GPA of 10.5 or higher based on the completion of a minimum of 5.0 full credits during the past academic year.
Students who receive the President's Gold Scholarship are not eligible to receive in-course scholarships.
