Scholarship Summary:
Western Kentucky University is offering Academic Merit Awards to top-performing first-time freshmen students (domestic and international) based on their high school GPA and ACT/SAT score.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 (unweighted)
Value of Scholarship:
The WKU Academic Merit Awards range from $1,000 to $7,500 per academic year ($4,000-$30,000 over a four year period).
Scholarship Application Guide:
To be considered for an Academic Merit Award,
i. Students must have a complete application package on file by December 31st, 2023. A complete application package includes the following:
• Applied AND admitted to WKU
• Official high school transcript received
• ACT or SAT scores received
