Scholarship Summary:
Incoming domestic freshmen are eligible for a host of merit scholarships available at Wichita. These scholarships are awarded based on a composite of high school GPA and national test scores.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be planning to attend WSU the semester following high school graduation
ii. Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0
iii. Obtain a minimum test score; 21 ACT/1060 SAT
Value of Scholarship:
The Wichita Merit Scholarships are awarded as follows;
i. For In-state students, scholarship amounts range from $1,500 - $4,000 annually
ii. For Out-of-state students, scholarship amounts range from $2,500 - $6,000 annually

To be awarded a merit scholarship, students must be admitted into Wichita by the admission deadline, Dec 1
