Scholarship Summary:
Buena Vista University is awarding academic merit scholarships to high-performing undergraduate students (domestic and international). Domestic students will be awarded based on high school CGPA and ACT scores. International students will be awarded based on academic records and/or English proficiency test scores.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, applicants must;
i. Be admitted for undergraduate study at BVU
Value of Scholarship:
The Buena Vista Merit-Based Scholarship are valued as follows;
i. Gold Award: $21,000 per year (3.09 or below HS CGPA*)
ii. Blue Award: $23,000 per year (3.10-3.42 HS CGPA)
iii. Arch Scholarship: $24,000 per year (3.43-3.66 HS CGPA)
iv. Heritage Scholarship: $25,000 per year (3.67-3.89 HS CGPA)
v. President’s Scholarship: $27,000 per year (3.9 HS CGPA)
Domestic students who reside outside the state of Iowa will receive the Out-of-State Grant valued as $2,000 in addition to a merit scholarship.
