Scholarship Summary:
Covenant College offers the Maclellan Scholarship Program to very high performing incoming freshmen (US citizens and residents only) with excellent academic credentials and demonstrated leadership ability and achievement.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Score a minimum of 28 on the ACT test or 1320 on the SAT test or 90 on the CLT test
ii. Obtain a high school GPA of 3.85 (on a 4.0 scale)
Value of Scholarship:
The benefits of the Maclellan Scholarship include the following;
i. Scholarship equal to the cost of tuition; can be used for all components of the cost of attendance budget when state or federal grants or scholarships are applied
ii. $2,000 stipend towards required intercultural study
iii. Coursework designed to stimulate thinking and develop leadership skills
iv. Internship requirement
v. Optional, student-funded May trip abroad with the president
