The University of Texas at Tyler is offering the generous Patriot Promise Scholarship to incoming Texan first-year freshmen with an annual household adjusted gross income of up to $100,000.

To qualify, students must meet the following requirements by the
i. Must be a new Freshman or incoming Transfer student and enroll as a full-time student at The University of Texas at Tyler (at least 12 credit hours)
ii. Must submit a FAFSA
iii. Must be a Texas resident for tuition purposes
iv. Have a family income up to $100,000.
Value of Scholarship:
The Patriot Promise Scholarship covers the Full Tuition and Mandatory Fees for qualifying students for up to four years, as long as students continue to meet the following renewal requirements: full-time enrollment, the household income criteria, minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA and yearly submission of FAFSA.

There is no separate scholarship application; complete the admission application on . Once admitted to UT Tyler, students will be automatically reviewed for the Patriot Promise Scholarship; no additional application is needed.
Renewal Requirements:
i. Must maintain full-time enrollment.
ii. Submit a FAFSA yearly and continue to meet income criteria
iii. Complete a minimum of 24 credit hours at UT Tyler in the previous Academic Year.
iv. Must maintain a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.
