Scholarship Summary:
Each year, Hanover College will award the Spencer Family Scholarship to two US students majoring in Engineering. These students must belong to a community that is underrepresented in the field, and includes racial and ethnic minorities, women and persons with physical disabilities.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must

• Belong to a community that is underrepresented in the field, and includes racial and ethnic minorities, women and persons with physical disabilities.
Value of Scholarship:
The Hanover Spencer Family Scholarship for Engineering is a full-ride scholarship and covers tuition, room, board and books for four years.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. Apply for general admission to the College (if you have not already) no later than the above deadline.
ii. Complete the scholarship application form by the above deadline
iii. Upon receipt of your application, you will then receive instruction to upload the necessary materials for scholarship review, including: two letters of recommendation from high school teachers in the STEM disciplines, and an essay on your interest in Engineering.
iv. Once those materials have been submitted, a scholarship committee will review all applicants and follow up regarding next steps. Select candidates will be asked to complete an interview.
