Scholarship Summary: 
First-Time Freshmen (domestic and international) will be considered automatically for merit scholarships upon admission to JSU. Scholarships are awarded based on the highest high school GPA and composite test score (ACT/SAT) JSU's Office of Admissions has on file.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must:
i. Have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 2.0

Value of Scholarship: 
The Gamecock Merit scholarships range in value from $1,000 - $10,500 annually.

*Out-of-state and international students receiving a merit-based scholarship or grant will qualify to pay their remaining tuition balance at the in-state rate. 

Scholarship Application Guide: 
Apply for admission to Jacksonville State University and be admitted by May 1st, 2024. No separate application is required.
