Scholarship Summary: 
The Park Presidential Honors Scholarship is a full tuition and room and board scholarship for one to two incoming first-time domestic freshmen. It is considered the most prestigious academic award for incoming first-time freshmen.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To qualify for the Presidential Honors Scholarship, applicants must;
i. earn a high school GPA of 3.8+;
ii. earn a ACT score of 32+ or SAT score of 1450+ (recommended but not required)

Value of Scholarship: 
This scholarship is a full-ride scholarship and includes the following;
i. Tuition for 144 undergraduate credit hours over four Academic Years (maximum of 36 hours/Academic Year {July 1–June 30})
ii. Summer tuition covered by scholarship
iii. Room & board at double occupancy rate
iv. Study abroad funds after first year in Honors Academy

NOTE: Recipients must maintain a cumulative 3.8 GPA.

Scholarship Application Guide: 

To be considered for the Presidential Honors Scholarship, you must;
i. Apply for undergraduate admission following the Park application process.
ii. Complete the 2025 competitive scholarship application and submit required materials which include;
  1. Two letters of recommendation from high school teachers
  2. 300-500 word personal statement as described within application
  3. Current Resume
iii. Selected scholarship candidates will be invited to attend the Honors Scholarship Interview Day in December. The Competitive Scholarship Interview Day includes a multistage interview with the Scholarship Committee, an Honors Academy information session for parents and students, an optional campus tour and interactive program with fellow candidates. Attendance at Honors Scholarship Interview Day is mandatory. 

NOTES:
  1. For the scholarship application, each submitted file must be clearly labeled with the student’s name and name of the high school attended (or “home-schooled”).
  2. All materials should be submitted through the application as Microsoft Word documents or as Adobe PDFs.
