Scholarship Summary:
The Moundbuilder Spirit Scholarship is a full-tuition scholarship (renewable for four years if criteria are met) awarded annually to two domestic undergraduate student leaders who are well-rounded, considerate, hardworking, and community-minded. This scholarship is awarded to extraordinary people who exhibit great potential.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
The following criteria are considered for eligibility;
i. Active in community
ii. Dedicated to an extra-curricular activity such as band, theater, yearbook, or baseball
iii. Served on student council
iv. Dedicated and driven
v. Committed to encouraging and helping
Value of Scholarship:
The Moundbuilder’s Spirit Scholarship covers the full tuition cost and is renewable annually for up to four years.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. You must submit your application for admission and supporting materials to SC by January 15, 2024.
ii. Complete the Moundbuilder’s Spirit Scholarship Application form by January 15th, 2024
iii. Selected finalists will receive invitations to participate in the competition. The competition consists of a timed essay and an interview with faculty/staff members. Each finalist that competes will receive a renewable $1,000 scholarship.
iv. Two finalists will be selected, based on the outcome of the essay and interview, to receive a renewable full-tuition scholarship for four years.
Note: SC is able to consider each student for either the Pillars Academic or Moundbuilder Spirit Scholarship, not both.
