Scholarship Summary:
MTU is offering the International Ambassador Scholarship to outstanding international freshmen students with high academic credentials. Eligible first-year and transfer students who have applied and been accepted for undergraduate admission to Michigan Tech are automatically considered for this award.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be academically talented undergraduate students who are citizens and residents of countries other than the United States.
ii. Have a minimum HS Cumulative GPA of 3.0
Value of Scholarship:
The International Ambassador Scholarship ranges in value from $11,000 - $14,300 per year, for up to four years (eight semesters).

Renewal Criteria
Scholarship recipients must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.50 at the end of each spring semester. Continuous, regular full-time undergraduate enrollment (12 credits or more) and acceptable social behavior must also be maintained.
