MTU is offering the International Ambassador Scholarship to outstanding international freshmen students with high academic credentials. Eligible first-year and transfer students who have applied and been accepted for undergraduate admission to Michigan Tech are automatically considered for this award.Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;i. Be academically talented undergraduate students who are citizens and residents of countries other than the United States.
ii. Have a minimum HS Cumulative GPA of 3.0
Value of Scholarship:
The International Ambassador Scholarship are valued as follows;i. $11,000/year (3.0 - 3.49 GPA)
ii. $14,300/year (3.50+ GPA)
Renewal Criteria
Scholarship recipients must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.50 at the end of each spring semester. Continuous, regular full-time undergraduate enrollment (12 credits or more) and acceptable social behavior must also be maintained.
