Scholarship Summary:
Carthage awards automatic merit scholarships to full-time undergraduate students (domestic and international) at the time of admission, eliminating the need for an additional application. These scholarships are based on grades, standardized test scores, and are completely funded by Carthage.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria for consideration but past recipients were in the top 30% of the applicant pool.
Value of Scholarship:
The Carthage Merit Scholarship are valued as follows;
i. For domestic students: academic scholarships are valued up to $16,000 per year and are renewable
ii. For international students: Carthage international scholarships range from $5,000 to $20,000 per year and are renewable.
A four-year renewable grant of $1,000 per year (four-year value: $4,000) for students starting classes at Carthage is also awarded to prospective students who visit Carthage.
