Scholarship Summary: 
University of Waterloo is awarding automatic Student Entrance Scholarships to international students admitted to a full-time undergraduate, engineering degree program.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for consideration;
  • Full-time international undergraduate students entering full-time engineering studies in first year
  • Students must be studying on a study permit and be paying international tuition fees
  • No minimum admission average is required and an application is not required
  • Students must accept their offer of admission by the offer of admission confirmation deadline (Scholarships will be revoked for students who do not accept their offer of admission by that date)
Value of Scholarship: 
The University of Waterloo Faculty of Engineering International Student Entrance Scholarships are awarded as follows;

1. Programs: Environmental Engineering and Geological Engineering:
Students will receive CAD$5,000 per term for up to four academic terms for a total of CAD$20,000 (or CAD$10,000 per year). Plus you'll earn thousands of dollars over the course of your co-op work terms!

  • Payments after first year are dependent on maintaining an 80% overall cumulative average and full-time enrolment in the program you were admitted to.

2. Programs: Architectural, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Management, Nanotechnology, and Systems Design Engineering:
Students will receive CAD$5,000 per term in first year for a total of CAD$10,000. Plus you'll earn thousands of dollars over the course of your co-op work terms!
