University of Waterloo is awarding automatic Student Entrance Scholarships to international students admitted to a full-time undergraduate, mathematics degree program.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration;
- Full-time international undergraduate students entering any Faculty of Mathematics program (except Software Engineering or Computing and Financial Management)
- Students must be studying on a study permit and be paying international tuition fees.
- No minimum admission average is required and an application is not required
- Students must accept their offer of admission by the offer of admission confirmation deadline (Scholarships will be revoked for students who do not accept their offer of admission by that date)
Value of Scholarship:
The University of Waterloo Faculty of Mathematics International Student Entrance Scholarships are awarded as follows;
1. Mathematics Global Scholarship:
- Valued up to CAD$12,000 - CAD$40,000 (up to 10 available)
- Spread equally over eight academic terms
- Must maintain a minimum 80% average and take five courses each academic term to receive payments after first year
2. Mathematics International Elite Awards - India:
- Valued up to CAD$40,000 (up to 5 available for international students with Indian citizenship)
- Two equal payments in first year
3. Mathematics International Excellence Awards - India:
- Valued up to CAD$20,000 (up to 10 available for international students with Indian citizenship)
- Two equal payments in first year
