Scholarship Summary:
Approximately 150 of the most highly qualified secondary school students (Canadian and international) applying to first year of direct entry, undergraduate studies will be distinguished as President’s Scholars of Excellence at the University of Toronto.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
Outstanding domestic and international secondary school students are considered automatically for these scholarships and are typically in the top 25% of the applicant pool.
Value of Scholarship:
Recipients of the President’s Scholarship receive the following benefits;
i. CAD$10,000 entrance scholarship in their first year of studies (non-renewable);
ii. Additional features may be offered by the admitting division. Please refer to your letter of offer for further details.
Payment of the award is conditional on full-time registration at the University in the fall of the year the award is granted; retention of the higher-year opportunities attached to the award requires the student’s continuing full-time registration in good standing.
Scholarship Application Guide:
No application is required for this scholarship; all eligible students are automatically considered for this award upon admission.
