Scholarship Summary:
Full-time master's and doctoral students (Canadian and international) with a high academic standing (minimum A-minus), entering for full-time graduate studies are eligible for the Dean’s Graduate Scholarship. Due to a limited number of available scholarships, they will be awarded at the discretion of the applicant’s home faculty.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Have a minimum admission average of A-
Value of Scholarship:
The OTU Dean’s Graduate Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Dean’s Graduate Scholarships for Master’s students: CAD$3,000 {renewable for up to 2 years}
ii. Dean’s Graduate Scholarships for PhD students: CAD$4,500 {renewable for up to 4 years}
iii. Graduate International Tuition Scholarship for International PhD students only: CAD$10,000 {renewable for up to 4 years}
To continue receiving this scholarship, the student must maintain an A-minus average and receive satisfactory research progress reports during this time period.
Scholarship Application Guide:
Students are automatically assessed for scholarship eligibility at the time of admission and do not need to apply. Most offers of scholarship will be made with the offer of admission.
