Scholarship Summary: 
University of Alberta is awarding generous application-based scholarships to Canadian students who meet certain eligibility criteria. Candidate eligibility for specific scholarships will be assessed based on their admission information and their scholarship application. The University of Alberta scholarship and award competitions are competitive and there is no guarantee that meeting eligibility will result in a scholarship or award offer.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Present an admission average that meets or exceeds those required for the specific scholarship or award.
ii. Be entering university directly from high school with fewer than 12 credits of university course work taken during high school or following time taken off between high school and university, provided that no post-secondary credit was received during that time.
iii. Be entering the first year of full-time studies in an undergraduate degree program at the University of Alberta in September of the upcoming year.

Value of Scholarship: 
The University of Alberta Application-based Undergraduate Scholarships are as follows;
i. Scholastic Distinction Scholarship (Required: Min. 95% admission average)
ii. Entrance Leadership Scholarship (Required: Min. 80% admission average)
iii. Fly Home Award for out-of-province Canadian students – up to CAD$1,500
iv. Opportunities Award – up to CAD$5,000 (for students from diverse backgrounds)
v. Enriched Scholar Scholarship – valued at up to CAD$5,000 {For top AP and IB students}

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply;
i. Apply for admission to your desired program to receive a CCID and password to apply for scholarships.  Please note that it can take 2-3 business days for a CCID to be generated.
