Scholarship Summary:
Carthage awards two full-tuition per year Business Scholarships each year to incoming domestic students. These scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate ability in business, and are renewable for four years.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must;
i. must intend to major in accounting, economics, finance, international political economy, management, or marketing. (A double major in another subject area is acceptable and can be completed in four years.)
ii. Demonstrate exceptional business ability
Value of Scholarship:
The Carthage Business Scholarship covers the full cost of tuition annually.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
• Submit an application for admission to Carthage and supporting materials (high school transcripts).
• Submit the Business Scholarship Application.
• Submit a one-page essay: Explain why you are interested in a career in business or economics (this is part of the online scholarship application).
• The business faculty and the Office of Admissions will review your application and high school grades. Qualified applicants will be notified in early January. Successful candidates and their families will be invited to the Business Scholarship Competition.
• The Business Scholarship Competition takes place virtually/online on February 17, 2024. If selected to compete, candidates will be invited to the virtual/online competition where they will take a comprehensive examination, have candid discussions with Carthage business students, and hear alumni share experiences and insights regarding their time as a Carthage business student.
