Scholarship Summary:
York University is offering 18 President’s Scholarships to secondary school applicants (Canadian citizens and residents only), admitted into a first year daytime undergraduate program, with the highest entrance averages. These scholarships are renewable for an additional three years of undergraduate study provided the student maintains a sessional grade point average of 8.00 and registers in a minimum of 18 credits in the fall/winter session.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria for consideration but past recipients were in the top 4% of the applicant pool.
Value of Scholarship:
The York President’s Scholarship is valued as CAD$5,400 and is renewable for for an additional three years of undergraduate study provided the student maintains a sessional grade point average of 8.00 and registers in a minimum of 18 credits in the fall/winter session.
Scholarship Application Guide:
No application is required to be eligible for this award. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic merit upon admission. This scholarship cannot be held in conjunction with another renewable entrance scholarship.
