Scholarship Summary: 
UMFK offers the Bengal Academic Scholarships to qualifying first year students (domestic and international) enrolled in on-campus degree programs.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
Eligibility criteria is dependent on residency status and academic credentials; more information below

Value of Scholarship: 
The UMFK Bengal Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Bengal Gold
a. For Maine residents and Canadian students: $2,000 {HS GPA 3.0}
b. For Maine non-residents: $5,000 {HS GPA 3.0}
c. For International students: $5,000 {Cumulative Average of 90 - 100 (3.0/4.0)}

ii. Bengal Silver
a. For Maine residents and Canadian students: $1,000 {HS GPA 2.8 or higher}
b. For Maine non-residents: $3,500 {HS GPA 2.80 or higher}
c. For International students: $3,500 {Cumulative Average is 80 - 89 (2.75)}

Scholarship Application Guide: 
A separate application is not required to qualify. Simply complete your admissions application and you will automatically be reviewed for eligibility when the Admissions Committee makes a decision on your application.
