Scholarship Summary:
The Southampton Chemistry Dean’s Scholarship is available to international students studying chemistry and chemical engineering at either undergraduate or postgraduate level. There are 3 scholarships available for 2024.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible, you must:
• Be an international student
• Hold a conditional or unconditional offer from Southampton
• Be studying an undergraduate or postgraduate programme in the chemistry and chemical engineering department
• Be self-funded and required to pay the overseas tuition fee
Value of Scholarship:
The Southampton Chemistry Dean’s Scholarship is valued as £5,000
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply for the scholarship you must complete and submit the online application form.
In the application form, you will need to provide your personal details and the name of the course you will study. You will also need to answer 2 questions.
1. What are your career aspirations and how do you plan on achieving those goals? (500 words maximum word count).
2. As a Southampton Chemistry International scholar how might you act as an ambassador for the University? (200 words maximum word count).

- by 3 June 2024 at the latest if your application is successful
- after 4 June 2024 if your application is not successful
