The University of Texas at Tyler is awarding the Academic Excellence Scholarship to high-performing freshmen students (domestic and international). Academic merit awards are based solely on GPA, class rank, and/or region. It's important to note that funding is limited and this scholarship will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis.

To be eligible for consideration, you must;
i. Rank within the top 25% of high school graduating class with 3.0 minimum high school GPA for regular domestic students OR
i. Rank within the top 25% of high school graduating class with 3.0 minimum high school GPA for regular domestic students OR
ii. Obtain a minimum 3.5 high school GPA for home school students, non-ranking high schools, and international students
Value of Scholarship:
The Academic Excellence Scholarship is valued as $2,000 annually
