Merit Scholarships are awarded by the Ursinus Office of Admissions to full-time freshmen students (domestic and international) on the basis of academic achievements and leadership potential.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, applicants must;
i. Be admitted for undergraduate study
ii. Demonstrate academic excellence through school records
Value of Scholarship:
The Ursinus Freshman Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Zacharias Honors Scholarship: $45,000/year (the average Zacharias Scholar typically has a high school GPA greater than 4.0)
ii. Ursinus Gateway Scholarship: $43,000/year (the average Gateway Scholar typically has a high school GPA greater than 3.7.)
iii. Ursinus Scholarship: up to $40,000/year (the average Ursinus Scholar typically has a high school GPA greater than 3.3)
International students are not eligible for the Zacharias Honors Scholarship.
