Scholarship Summary:
Through the #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship, Wright State University recognizes international students who demonstrate a vision for enhancing intercultural understanding. In Fall 2024, two first-year students will be selected to receive a renewable scholarship.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be considered for the #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship,
i. You must be a first-year international applicant applying from abroad who intends to live on-campus. As an international applicant, you must have attended or have graduated from a secondary school outside of the U.S.
ii. You must demonstrate interest and personal initiative in activities involving intercultural learning and exchange.
Value of Scholarship:
The Wright State #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship is valued as $10,000 per year for four years.

1. First, you must apply and be accepted into Wright State University as a first-year international applicant.
2. Next, submit the one-page #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship application and essay. Please contact international-admissions@wright.edu if you have any questions.
3. Renewable contingent on maintaining a 2.5 GPA and earning a total of 24 credit hours during the Fall and Spring Semesters
