Scholarship Summary:
The University of Nebraska at Omaha is committed to enrolling a diverse and talented student population and is awarding International Scholarship to eligible incoming international students (undergraduate and postgraduate).
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be considered for this scholarship, you must;
i. Be a prospective UNO first-time or transfer student (not currently enrolled)
ii. Must meet academic criteria for admission to UNO
iii. Be an F-1 or J-1 visa applicant or holder
Value of Scholarship:
The UNO International Scholarships are namely as follows;
i. International Academic Excellence Scholarship - Undergraduate: funds tuition costs for all admitted undergraduate students, starting at approximately $3,000 per year.
- Renewable for a total of five years or until you receive a bachelor’s degree, whichever occurs first.
- Applies to on-campus courses only
- Open to first-time and transfer undergraduate students
ii. UNO International Graduate Scholarship: funds tuition costs for graduate students, starting at approximately $2,000 per year.
Renewable for up to:
- 3 years for master’s degrees
- 4 years for specialist degrees
- 5 years for doctoral (PhD) degrees
Scholarship Application Guide:
All newly admitted first-time and transfer undergraduate and graduate students will automatically be considered for the International Scholarships after admission.
