The David Distinguished Tuition Scholarship is awarded to outstanding Nebraska residents who have demonstrated academic excellence and academic distinction.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
David Distinguished Scholars demonstrate academic distinction. Selection is based on a holistic review that includes a balanced objective assessment of competitive academic achievement, including exceptional grade point average in combination with an excellent class rank or competitive test score, with a subjective final academic review.
Value of Scholarship:
Recipients are awarded $4,000 toward University of Nebraska–Lincoln undergraduate tuition for the academic year ($2,000/semester) for up to four years, not including summers.
Students must maintain a 3.500 cumulative GPA and complete 24 credit hours each academic year (fall/spring).
Scholarship Application Guide:

• by the deadline.
• Take the ACT/SAT on or before the February test date and submit scores (test scores are preferred; not required).
• Upload a current unofficial high school transcript in MyRED.
• Submit your final high school transcript to Admissions by June 1.
