Scholarship Summary: 
Exceptional incoming MSU freshmen (domestic and international) are invited to apply for the George M. Luckey, Jr. Honors Scholarship. The scholarship is highly competitive and only offered to a limited number of students each year.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
Selection is based on academic achievement, including GPA, test scores, challenging coursework, leadership and service experiences, awards and recognitions, essay, sample of work and interview. 

Past recipients were in the top 5% of the applicant pool.

Value of Scholarship: 
Recipients of the Morehead Honors Scholarships will receive the following benefits;
Tuition and honors housing (up to a four-person suite).
Eagle Weekly 10 Meal Plan and $500 per semester for books at the University Bookstore.
Participation in the Honors Program, access to Honors HQ and residence in the Honors Learning Community in Fields Hall.
An Undergraduate Research Fellowship.
Up to $1,500 to be used for required overseas experience.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply;
i. Before completing the Honors Scholarship Application, you must separately submit a complete University Admissions Application. 

ii. Complete the scholarship application; the completed application packet with essay, recent photograph, and sample work should be submitted to Dr. P. Krummrich, p.krummrich@moreheadstate.edu as email attachments. The recommender must submit the letter of recommendation to the same email address.
