Scholarship Summary: 
University of Nebraska-Omaha is awarding a number of merit scholarships to residents of Nebraska that are graduating seniors of Nebraska high schools and have performed excellently at their high school academic work.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible, a student must, 
i. Be a Nebraska resident 
ii. Have a minimum ACT composite of 26 and 
iii. Either hold a rank in the top 25% of their graduating class OR obtain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Value of Scholarship: 
The UNO Nebraska Freshmen Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Academic Achievement Scholarship - $3,500 per academic year {Required: minimum ACT score (or SAT equivalent) of 28-29 and either rank in the top 25% of their class OR have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher} 
ii. Habrock Scholarship - $1,000 per academic year {Required: minimum ACT score (or SAT equivalent) of 26-27 and either rank in the top 25% of their class OR have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher} 

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply, submit the Application for Admission by February 1 of your senior year. UNO will accept ACT/SAT scores through the February test date of your senior year.
