Scholarship Summary:
The 4WARD Graduation Scholarship at EMU for incoming freshmen (domestic and international) is an exciting opportunity to successfully complete your degree in four years while maintaining financial stability.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria:
i. Obtain a 3.0 cumulative high school GPA (International students with a 2.75+ cumulative GPA are eligible)
ii. Recipients must live in an on-campus community for all four years.
Value of Scholarship:
The 4WARD Graduation Scholarship offers a four-year graduation commitment. When you successfully pay and complete two years at Eastern Michigan University, EMU will fund your full tuition for your remaining two years. Years 1 and 2 have a locked-in rate.
Out-of-State domestic students and International students are also eligible for the EMU's Global Tuition Rate in addition, which eliminates out-of-state fees for undergraduate students, allowing all undergraduate students from the US - and around the world - to pay in-state rates.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
1. Apply for admission to Eastern Michigan University. The $35 application fee is waived for all applicants!
2. If you meet the GPA and test score criteria, you will receive a 4WARD Graduation Scholarship award letter in your admit packet. Follow the steps on that letter to opt into the 4WARD Graduation Scholarship.
3. Financial Aid will reach out to you with the Terms & Conditions contract to be signed and returned by a specified deadline.
4. Sign the contract and return to Financial Aid and your financial aid award will be updated.
5. Continue to meet all terms and conditions in years 1 and 2 and receive the 4WARD scholarship in years 3 and 4.
