Scholarship Summary:
Case Western Reserve University is awarding a number of merit scholarships to incoming first-year students (US citizens and residents only) that recognizes outstanding academic and personal achievement.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
The CWRU Office of Undergraduate Admission awards scholarships using multiple criteria, including:
a. Academic achievement
b. Performance on standardized tests
c. Leadership
d. Artistic talent
e. Other personal qualities that distinguish you in the applicant pool
Value of Scholarship:
The CWRU Freshman Merit Scholarships are named as follows;
i. University Scholarship
ii. Bolton Scholarship: For students who show exceptional promise in the field of nursing and who have not been selected for another scholarship
iii. Michelson-Morley STEM Scholarship: For exceptional students who plan to major in science, technology, engineering or mathematics fields
iv. Austin E. Knowlton Endowed Memorial Scholarship Fund: For talented, qualified students from Ohio
