Scholarship Summary:
UFV is committed to rewarding academic excellence and is awarding 30 top incoming international undergraduate students with the International Regional Entrance Scholarship (15 for Fall, 15 for Summer). The regions eligible for this scholarship include;
• Africa
• ASEAN
• East Asia
• Latin America
• South Asia
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be international applicants from the regions listed above
ii. Have a minimum overall CGPA (cumulative GPA) of 3.0 on all approved grade 12 courses.
iii. Be in your graduating year or have recently graduated.
Value of Scholarship:
The UFV International Regional Entrance Scholarship is a non-renewable award of CAD$5,000 per applicant.
Scholarship Application Guide:
You do not need to apply for this scholarship. You are automatically considered when you apply to UFV if you meet the eligibility criteria.
To ensure that you will be considered, you should:
- Apply to your UFV program as soon as possible.
- Pay your application fee.
- Be sure you have completed and submitted your application, including:
- Proof of English language proficiency.
- Official high school and/or post-secondary transcripts.
Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
