Scholarship Summary:
UWRF is committed to offering merit-based scholarships to students with a history of strong academic performance – with or without test scores and thus, is awarding the Chancellor’s Scholarship to the topmost performing domestic freshmen students.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must;
i. Be new, incoming students with exceptional academic performance and leadership qualities.
ii. Have a high school GPA of 3.8 or higher OR rank in the top 10% of their high school class OR have an 28 ACT (1310 SAT) or higher
Value of Scholarship:
The UWRF Chancellor’s Scholarship ranges from half-tuition to full-tuition, along with a $2,000 stipend. This award is renewable for four years.Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. Complete an admission application into UWRF.
ii. Complete the Chancellor's Scholarship application in the UWRF Scholarship System.
The application requires the submission of the following documents;
- One letter of recommendation from a teacher, guidance counselor, coach, mentor, etc. explaining the student’s leadership and academic potential
- An essay
