Scholarship Summary: 
Webster University awards the competitive Chancellor's scholarship to up to five, outstanding, first-year undergraduate students (US citizens and permanent residents). Finalists are chosen on the basis of their academic background (curriculum, grade point average, and test scores), essay, and involvement in leadership activities.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
Applicants must meet the following criteria to apply;
• Cumulative GPA of 3.75 (on a 4.0 scale)
• Minimum 27 ACT composite or 1260 SAT (combined Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math)

Value of Scholarship: 
The Chancellor's Scholarship covers the full tuition cost and is renewable for up to eight consecutive semesters, provided full-time enrollment and a 3.5 (out of 4.0) GPA is maintained.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must have:
1. Completed (including all required supporting materials) by December 1, 2025.
2. 
Students who meet the criteria above will receive an emailed invitation link to complete the Chancellor's Scholarship application  
  • The application will include a personal statement, a leadership portfolio or summary of activities, and two letters of recommendation.
3. Finalists will be invited to interview with the Scholarship Committee. Students will notified if of their status by email in early February.
