Applications for this scholarship will end on the 1st of December, 2023.

Scholarship Summary: 
UAB offers generous scholarships to high-performing domestic students from the state of Alabama. All scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to qualified students and all in-state entering freshmen who have their admission documents postmarked by the deadline date are automatically considered for ACT & GPA-based scholarships.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible, you must;
i. Earn a minimum high school GPA of 3.0/4.0 and
ii. Obtain a minimum ACT score of 24 or a SAT score of 1160

Value of Scholarship: 
The UAB In-State Freshmen Scholarships are valued as follows; 
i. Presidential Scholarship: $11,000 (30-36 ACT/1360-1600 SAT and 3.5+ GPA)
ii. Provost Scholarship: $7,000 (30-36 ACT/1360-1600 SAT and 3.0-3.49 GPA)
iii. Provost Scholarship: $7,000 (27-29 ACT/1260-1350 SAT and 3.5+ GPA)
iv. Green & Gold Scholarship: $4,000 (27-29 ACT/1260-1350 SAT and 3.0-3.49 GPA)
v. Green & Gold Scholarship: $4,000 (24-26 ACT/1160-1250 SAT and 3.5+ GPA)
vi. Blazer Scholarship: $3,000 (24-26 ACT/1160-1250 SAT and 3.0-3.49 GPA)
vii. Blazer Scholarship: $3,000 (22-23 ACT/1100-1150 SAT and 3.5+ GPA)

All the above scholarships are renewable for four years.

Students admitted with test scores are automatically considered for ACT- and GPA-based merit scholarships. Complete an admission application for undergraduate study at UAB by the above deadline.
