Scholarship Summary:
The #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship recognizes promising international students with a vision for enhancing intercultural understanding. As a participating institution in this program, Miami University will award two (2) annual, renewable scholarships.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship;
i. You must be a first-year international applicant to Miami University.
ii. You must also demonstrate interest and personal initiative in activities involving intercultural learning and exchange.
Value of Scholarship:
The #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship covers a minimum of 50% the costs of tuition
Scholarship Application Guide:
i. Apply for admission to Miami University as a first-year student
ii. Submit the #YouAreWelcomeHere application by December 1, 2023. The #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship application is available on the Applicant Status page upon submission of the first-year application for admission.
iii. Scholarship recipients will be notified at the time of acceptance. If you are awarded the #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship, you must submit your enrollment deposit to Miami University by May 1, 2024 to receive the scholarship.
