Miami University offers guaranteed merit scholarships to qualified high school students (domestic and international) who apply for admission by the deadline and are enrolled as full-time students on Miami’s Oxford campus.Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be considered, you have to meet the following criteria;i. Obtain a minimum of 3.50 high school GPA (weighted) {for domestic students}
ii. Obtain a minimum of 2.5/4.0 high school GPA {for international students}
Value of Scholarship:
The Miami U Merit Scholarship is valued as follows;For domestic students
i. For Ohio residents, award amounts range from $4,000 - $9,000 annually
ii. For Ohio Non-residents, award amounts range from $8,000 - $22,000 annually
i. For Ohio residents, award amounts range from $4,000 - $9,000 annually
ii. For Ohio Non-residents, award amounts range from $8,000 - $22,000 annually
For international students
1) 3.25 GPA/36+ IB: Up to 50% of tuition
2) 3.00–3.24 GPA/32–35 IB: Up to 40% of tuition
3) 2.75–2.99 GPA/29–31 IB: Up to 30% of tuition
4) 2.50–2.74 GPA/25–28 IB: Up to 20% of tuition
