Scholarship Summary:
The University of Southampton is offering subject-based scholarships to high-performing international undergraduate students to a maximum award of £3,000.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
You will be considered eligible for a Southampton International Merit Scholarship if you meet all of the following criteria:
i. You, the student, are liable to pay full international tuition fees and you will be self‐funding, i.e. you are not in receipt of a full or partial scholarship from another source or sponsored by one of the University’s international funding partners.
ii. You are in receipt of either a conditional or unconditional offer for a place at the University of Southampton which you have accepted (non‐UCAS applications) or accepted firmly (UCAS applications).
iii. You must obtain an A or A* at A level. Maximum scholarship of £3,000 available (find equivalent qualifications in the scholarship link below).
iv. The programme you wish to study is eligible.
v. You must be classified as ‘Overseas’ for fees purposes.
vi. You pay any necessary tuition fee deposit by the date notified on your offer letter.
Value of Scholarship:
The University of Southampton Undergraduate Merit Scholarships provides a fee reduction of up to £3,000 on your tuition fees for your first year only.
Scholarship Application Guide:
Your eligibility will be assessed when you make your application to study at the University. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit.
