Scholarship Summary:
The University of Southampton is offering subject-based scholarships to high-performing international undergraduate students to a maximum award of £3,000.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
You will be considered eligible for a Southampton International Merit Scholarship if you meet all of the following criteria:
- You, the student, are liable to pay full international tuition fees and you will be self‐funding, i.e. you are not in receipt of a full or partial scholarship from another source or sponsored by one of the University’s international funding partners.
- You are in receipt of either a conditional or unconditional at the University of Southampton which you have accepted (non‐UCAS applications) or accepted firmly (UCAS applications).
- You must obtain an A or A* at A level.
- Be starting in Year 1 of an eligible course
- You pay any necessary tuition fee deposit by the date notified on your offer letter.
Value of Scholarship:
The University of Southampton Undergraduate Merit Scholarships provides a fee reduction of up to £4,500 on your tuition fees for your first year only.
Scholarship Application Guide:
Your eligibility will be assessed when you make your application to study at the University. The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit.
