Scholarship Summary:
Wayland proudly offers the Pioneer Scholar Award to outstanding undergraduate students (domestic and international). The scholarship is based on scores from the ACT or SAT (new or old format) college entrance examinations and may be renewed if the student maintains a satisfactory grade point average at Wayland. The Pioneer Scholarship is awarded to the extent of university budget allocations and eligible students will receive consideration in the order of the date on which they submitted their completed contracts.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25
ii. Obtain a minimum test score of 25 ACT/78 CLT/1200 SAT

i. Dean Scholarship: 1/3 Tuition Scholarship {1200-1340 SAT/25-28 ACT/78-88 CLT AND 3.25+ GPA}
ii. President Scholarship: 2/3 Tuition Scholarship {1350-1480 SAT/29-32 ACT/89-99 CLT AND High School Valedictorian}
iii. Trustee Scholarship: Full Tuition Scholarship {1490-1600 SAT/33-36 ACT/100-120 CLT AND 3.5+ GPA}
