Scholarship Summary:
The UWA Trustee Academic Awards are made to entering freshmen students (domestic and international) with excellent academic records.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 OR
ii. Earn a minimum SAT score of 1060 or a minimum ACT score of 21
Value of Scholarship:
The UWA Trustee Academic Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Tiger Achievement Award - $2,000 per year (21-22 ACT / 1060-1120 SAT / 3.00-3.24 GPA)
On-campus residency is required for two years to maintain the full value of Trustee scholarships.
ii. Counselor's Award - $3,000 per year (23-24 ACT / 1130-1190 SAT / 3.25-3.49 GPA)
iii. Director's Award - $4,000 per year (25-26 ACT / 1200-1250 SAT / 3.50-3.74 GPA)
iv. Dean's Award - $5,000 per year (27-28 ACT / 1260-1320 SAT / 3.75-4.0+ GPA)
v. President's Award - $7,000 per year (29-30 ACT / 1330-1380 SAT)
vi. Trustee Excellence Award - $10,000 per year (31-32 ACT / 1390-1440 SAT)
vii. Trustee Superior Award - $12,000 per year (33-36 ACT / 1450-1600 SAT)
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply for freshman scholarships from the Admissions office;
i. Apply for undergraduate admission to UWA.
