Scholarship Summary: 
Oberlin College offers three special scholarships to international students of certain nationalities;
i. The Eduardo Chivambo Mondlane Scholarship is offered to any citizen from a sub-Saharan African country who is applying to Oberlin College of Arts and Sciences.
ii. The Edwin O. Reischauer Scholarship is offered to any Japanese national who has been accepted for admission to the Oberlin College of Arts and Sciences.
iii. The Yakubu Saaka Memorial Fund is offered to any citizen from Africa who is applying to Oberlin College of Arts and Sciences.  

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be a national of Japan or any African country

Criteria for selection include a strong academic record and the potential to excel within an American liberal arts curriculum. This award does not require any supplementary materials.

Value of Scholarship: 

These scholarships are valued up to $10,000 annually.
