Scholarship Summary:
Each year, Lincoln Memorial University awards incoming students (domestic) with Academic Excellence Awards. These scholarships help make LMU an affordable choice. These scholarships are renewable each year and are divided between the Fall and Spring semesters.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for an Academic Excellence Award, you must;
i. Be a new freshman student
ii. Obtain a minimum GPA of 3.29
Value of Scholarship:
The LMU Academic Excellence Award are valued as follows;
i. $14,000/year (3.96 GPA)
ii. $13,000 (3.78 GPA)
iii. $12,000 (3.63 GPA)
iv. $10,000 (3.29 GPA)
Note - Cornerstone Scholarship: Students may qualify for $8,000 towards their freshman year if they have an average high school GPA of 3.0.
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate scholarship application; all students who have been accepted to LMU will be considered for an Academic Excellence Award. All scholarships are renewable for three additional years provided the student maintains a cumulative 2.0 GPA.
Please note for domestic students, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required for students receiving an Academic Excellence Award. The FAFSA is available starting October 1 each year. LMU's school code is 003502.
