Scholarship Summary:
Union University wants to make University education as affordable as possible for its incoming freshmen cohort (domestic and international) and is thus offering a number of Merit Scholarships based on academics such as test scores and GPA.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for a Freshman Academic Scholarship, you must;
• Be a new freshman student
• Have a minimum high school GPA of 2.0
• Have one of the following minimum test scores; 18 ACT / 960 SAT / 61 CLT
Value of Scholarship:
The Union Freshman Academic Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. University Scholarship: $10,000 for dorm students and $7,000 for commuters. {Required: 18 ACT/960 SAT/61 CLT AND 2.0 GPA}
ii. Dean’s Scholarship: $11,000 for dorm students and $8,000 for commuters. {Required: 21 ACT/1060 SAT/68 CLT AND 2.5 GPA}
iii. Provost’s Scholarship: $14,000 for dorm students and $10,000 for commuters. {Required: 24 ACT/1160 SAT/76 CLT AND 3.0 GPA}
iv. President’s Scholarship: $16,000 for dorm students and $12,000 for commuters. {Required: 27 ACT/1260 SAT/84 CLT AND 3.5 GPA}
