Scholarship Summary:
Whitman College provides a comprehensive, diversified financial aid program — including scholarships, grants, employment opportunities and loans — to assist in financing a college education. Need-based scholarships for international students are calculated based on the student's demonstrated financial need and are renewable for four years. 100% of demonstrated need will be met for students outside of the United States and Canada.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for international need-based aid, applicants must;
i. Be international fee-paying students
ii. Demonstrate significant financial need
iii. Demonstrate exceptional academic potential
Value of Scholarship:
The benefits of the Whitman International Need-Based Aid covers;
i. Scholarship covering 100% of the student’s demonstrated need
ii. Whitman College will cover the full cost of a one-way flight to Walla Walla, including applicable taxes. Flights will be booked through a travel agent identified by Whitman’s Admission Office.
iii. Whitman College will cover the full cost of the SEVIS fee of students with a $1,000 contribution for Year 1

2. Students and families who are applying for need-based financial aid must submit the Whitman International Student Financial Aid Application (WISFAA).
