'24 University of Sunderland Just Add You Undergraduate Bursary (England Based)

Scholarship Summary: 
The University of Sunderland Just Add You Bursary recognises the additional costs incurred for UK students who do not live on the mainland and travel by air or ferry to study at university.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for the Just Add You Bursary, an applicant must:  
i. Be a ‘home’, ‘refugee’, ‘asylum seeker’ or ‘overseas island’ student on an eligible course.
ii. You must be a first-year student applying to start a three or four-year full time undergraduate course in autumn 2024.
iii. You must have a home address within Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands and Islands of Scotland.

Value of Scholarship: 
The total value of the award is £4,050; £1,600 accommodation discount, £250 Study Plus credit, £1,500 cash to support with transport and summer storage and £700 graduation support package.

These payments will be made into a UK bank account of your choice. It is your responsibility to enter your bank details onto your e:Vision account so that these payments can then be processed.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
There is no separate bursary application. This bursary will be automatically awarded to students identified as having a home address within Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Channel Islands and Islands of Scotland following a checking and verification process after enrolment.
 
As part of the admissions process, the University will verify various aspects of a UCAS or direct application to determine fee status. The following criteria will be verified: 
• Declared nationality 
• Country of birth 
• Area of permanent residence 
• Date of entry into the UK (If applicable) 
• Location of previous education institution
