Scholarship Summary:
The Birmingham Business School has a number of scholarships for incoming students (UK and International) on its 12 month full-time MBA programmes, providing a financial contribution towards your tuition fees. Assessment will be made via a separate application process only open to offer holders for the Birmingham MBA 12 month full time programmes for 2024/25 entry.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
In order to be eligible, candidates must:
• Apply and receive an offer from the University of Birmingham for a 12 month full-time MBA programme.
• Exhibit the highest standards of academic excellence, relevant experience and be passionate about Responsible Business.

Value of Scholarship:
The UBirmingham Full-time MBA scholarships for 2024 are valued as follows;
1. Purposeful Leader MBA Scholarship
- The scholarship holder will be in financial need as determined by the University.
- The scholarship will be allocated on the basis of academic excellence and relevant experience.
- The Purposeful Leader MBA Scholarship is a full-fees scholarship (£35,850 for 2024/25 entry).
- Please note this scholarship is available to one Birmingham MBA full time offer holder for 2024/25 entry.
2. Responsible Business MBA Scholarship
- Open to Birmingham MBA full time offer holders from across the world and with the aim to encourage, welcome and support a diverse MBA student community.
- The scholarship will be allocated on the basis of academic excellence, relevant experience and evidence of a commitment to Responsible Business.
- The Responsible Business Scholarship is worth up to £10,000.
- A number of scholarships are available.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply for the scholarship,
i. You must complete the online scholarship application form, a link to which will be emailed to you shortly after you have received an offer from the University of Birmingham for a 12 month full-time MBA programme. Please read the instructions in that email and on the application form carefully before submitting it. If you do not complete the application form using the link in the email, you will not be considered for one of the MBA scholarships.
ii. The MBA scholarship application must be fully completed and submitted by the deadlines shown above. Please note that scholarship applications will be considered on a rolling basis, so please apply as early as possible.
iii. As part of your scholarship application, you will be required to complete a written exercise on Responsible Business which will be reviewed alongside your course application.
