Scholarship Summary:
Incoming domestic freshman students who apply and submit all admission documents prior to the deadline are guaranteed an academic scholarship if they meet the eligibility criteria. Scholarships are awarded based on a point system and take into consideration GPA and ACT scores.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 3.2 and a 26 ACT

Value of Scholarship:
The UCO Automatic Academic Freshmen Scholarships are valued as follows;
A. BRONCHO BRONZE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD (based on test scores)
i. Elite: $1,000 per year (30+ ACT/1360+ SAT)
ii. Outstanding: $750 per year (26-29 ACT/1,230-1350 SAT)
iii. Distinguished: $500 per year (23-25 ACT/1,220-1130 SAT)
B. BRONCHO BLUE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
i. Elite: $1,000 per year (4.0 GPA)
ii. Outstanding: $800 per year (3.75-3.99 GPA)
iii. Distinguished: $650 per year (3.5-3.74 GPA)
Students can receive both the Broncho Bronze Achievement Award and the Broncho Blue Achievement Award.
Scholarship Application Guide:
Step 1: Apply for admission and scholarships online by 5 p.m, Feb. 1. The scholarship application will be emailed after the admission application has been submitted. The scholarship application is used to award leadership and Oklahoma State Regents scholarships.
