Scholarship Summary:
Oklahoma Christian University is committed to making a private education affordable to all and offers academic merit scholarships for admitted incoming domestic freshmen. These scholarships are automatically awarded, based on a weighted index of your ACT, SAT, or CLT scores and high school GPA in your OC application.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria for consideration but past recipients were in the top 65% of the applicant pool.
Value of Scholarship:
The OCU Freshmen Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Founder’s scholarship: $12,000/year {GPA 3.0 and ACT of 32}
ii. President’s Scholarship: $10,000/year {GPA 4.0 (test score optional) or GPA 2.0 and ACT 32 or GPA of 3.0 and ACT 28}
iii. Dean’s Scholarship: $8,000/year {GPA 3.75 (test score optional) or GPA 3.0 and ACT 23 or GPA 2.0 and ACT 27}
iv. Eagle Award: $6,000/year {GPA 3.0 (test score optional) or GPA 2.0 and ACT of 21}
v. Maroon & Gray Award: $4,000/year {GPA 2.0 or ACT of 17}
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no additional scholarship application; all eligible applicants will be considered for merit scholarships when they apply for admission into OCU.
